Singapore Restaurant

Known as the Little Red Dot, it sits along Tu Xuong street in District 3. Today we had our lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious! Various kinds of Singapore food is available here and the price is also reasonable. Within 60000 dong, you can have a decent meal with a drink.

Mee Goreng and Teh Tarik Ice !!

Char Siew Rice

Hokkien Mee and Chin Chow Drink

Kangkung with Belacan Chilli !!

Happy Singaporeans!

District 5 - Cho Lon

This is the chinatown of HCMC and its called Cho Lon. This area has a higher concentration of chinese and hence chinese language and dialects are spoken here. Saturday me, Lu Wei,Qi Da, Teck, Kian Lee and Chen Qing went to Cho Lon to tour around the area. We went to An Dong Market and Winsor Shopping Centre. We ate a vietnamese fruit called the Milk Fruit. And a large steamed corn sold on push cart along the street cost us only 3000 dong which is about S$0.30 !!

Monkey along the street.

Entrance into the market and food stalls.

Dried and Preserved products are sold here too. Its the same as you see it in Chinatown,Singapore.

This dog was so willing to make friends with us.... ;) Nice Dog....
