Greetings!
Its been a week at HCMC and it hasn't rained since....its a dry season at this moment.We did alot of shopping at the nearby supermarket at the junction between Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Nghia Nam Ky Khoi. All kinds of stuff can be bought from this supermarket. so the spending for the first week was huge....electric kettles,cookers, dried food and some hardware were bought. School started on the 12th of Feb 08. History and Geography of Saigon dominated the mornings while vietnamese language lessons woke us up in the noon...;)

We went over to Saigon Trade Center to check some banks such as VietComBank and Standard Chartered. Spoke to them about opening an account over there and I also managed to converse with a Malaysian who was there settling his account. We got some info from him too....
Vietnamese Chicken Rice
The night scene in Vietnam is beautiful. A lot of lights dominate District 1 and also alot of school children were pestering us to buy stuff from them..This photo was taken just after visiting the Singapore Visitors Centre.
