Last Sunday all 12 of us went on a tour to Cao Dai temple and Cu Chi Tunnels. We boarded a chartered bus at Backpackers' Street at about 8 am. The journey to the temple took 3.5 hrs. But in between we stopped over at a pottery making factory for a break. Soon we were back on the small bus, heading towards the temple. Upon reaching the temple, we toured the area and took photos...the below photo is a special one....It was taken at the edge of the temple surroundings.We are the 12 of the students from NTU who are participating in the Global Immersion Programme at Vietnam.
The Cao Dai religion is a combination of four religions namely Buddhism, Hindhuism, Confucianism and Catholicism.This photo was taken during the afternoon prayers which are usually conducted 4 times a week at about 12pm.
